Here's an easy, free, cross-platform solution for grabbing screenshots of web content: Screengrab, a Firefox add-on. It includes a great feature once found only in high-end tools: It can capture an entire page/frame, including the portions that fall below the scroll. After you install Screengrab, you see an icon down in your status bar: ![]()
Click the icon (or just right-click in the browser and select Screengrab) and choose whichever cropping option you want. Copy commands go to the clipboard; Save commands prompt you for a filename and path (it defaults to your "My Pictures" folder, on Windows). If you choose Selection, the entire page area darkens until you drag over the region that you want to capture. Through Tools > Add-Ons, you can set its few options, such as whether you prefer JPEG or PNG or want timestamps in the filenaming.
Tip: Office 2007 defaults to pasting HTML, so select Paste Special and choose the bitmap option to get your screenshots into email, Word, etc.
